Magnesium is an essential element that helps maintain calcium and carbonate concentrations in aquarium water.
It is used primarily by red calcareous algae and soft corals.
When available in the correct concentration, coral calcification rates improve.
We recommend maintaining Mg between 1300 – 1350 mg/L (at 35 salinity)
and checking Mg content regularly by a water test.
Technical Data
Dosing recomendation:
- 100 ml per 100 l (26 US gal) will increase magnesium by approx. 100 mg/l.
Maximum daily dose:
- Do not increase flouride by more than + 100 mg/l per day.
