Can I use Bacto Therapy together with Coral Vitality?
Yes! Both products work synergistically. Nutrient limitation and feeding of bacteria and corals can be supported. When combining both products, use only 50% of the recommended dosage for each and monitor nutrients closely.
Should I turn off UV-C or ozonation during the dosing of Bacto Therapy?
Yes! Both devices affect the microbial content of the water and would kill the live bacteria in Bacto Therapy. Turn off ozone and UV-C for 2-3 hours after dosing. After this time, the bacteria will have settled on the substrate, ensuring their safety and the effectiveness of Bacto Therapy.
Do the bacteria also work against cyanobacteria deposits?
Yes! Bacto Therapy can be successfully used to combat cyanobacteria infestations.
