Cerithium sp. - Spinose Cerith
The Spinose Cerith feeds on filamentous algae, as well as diatoms and detritus. They are peaceful vegetarians that enjoy sifting through the sand and crawling over rocks and glass.
Cerithium sp. is extremely diligent, resilient, and constantly sifts through the substrate. They are a must-have in any aquarium.
We recommend keeping about 10 individuals per 100 liters.
Since Cerithium likes to burrow in the sand, a fine, sandy substrate should be provided.
