Hydnophora species have been known in aquariums for many years and are extremely durable. Like all corals, they need light, of course, and can tolerate both much and less. Yes, they can even be kept under tube lighting. It should be noted that they prefer more light. The more light you offer them, the faster these corals grow.
All Hydnophora corals are more or less strong netting and very assertive. There are not many corals that can defend themselves against it. Therefore you should always keep a proper distance to other corals. If the Hydnophora touches another one with its gastral threads, it is around this one.
Can withstand a good and turbulent current. Basically also so hard to take and very regeneration-joyful.
