FMC Caulastrea Kryptonite V (Filter- + Daylight-Shot picture!)

Several frags of these corals are available. The corals differ only slightly in shape, but similar in size. You will receive a frag similar to the coral depicted in the photo of the same mother colony.

An sich ein leicht zu haltendes und dankbares Tier.

Caulastrea-Korallen vertragen durchaus auch lichtexponierte Stellen, die aber nicht so extrem mit HQI/T5 bestrahlt werden müssen. Wachsen natürlich auch in der Boden- bis Mittelichtzone gut, da sie auch einen Teil ihres Energiebedarfs durch den Fang von Plankton decken. Die Korallen entfalten ihre Tentakeln nachts zum Fang von Plankton, extra gefüttert werden müssen sie aber nicht unbedingt.

Zu halten bei mittlerer Strömung, niemals direkt!
