The Acanthastrea is a beautiful coral species, which attracts the attention of every aquarist - whether beginner or professional - especially with the great color variations.

Basically the Acans are easy to maintain, like nearly all LPS corals, whereby of course the basic values should be kept in relation to the water parameters always.
Only the sensitivity to thread or drill algae is known, but this affects many LPS corals equally.

Flow medium, light also rather less, so best medium light zone to ground level, even shadow area is feasible. It should not be direct light.

Feed your Acanthasrea several times a week with Fauna Marin LPS Food Grow + Color the Acanthastrea will thank you with faster growth and brighter colours.
