Acanthophyllias oder auch Cynarina lacrimalis sind eine einfach zu haltende Steinkorallenart. Sie kommen gut in Bodennähe zurecht.
Die Strömung sollte mittel, am besten turbulent und nicht zu stark sein, aber niemals auf das Tier gerichtet - das verträgt das Gewebe nicht.
