A very magnificent and at the same time easy to keep species.
Needs a medium light zone, with a good but never direct current to the animal.
Frags are - as with many soft corals - of course also feasible. Works well by dividing or cutting a section.
Long before sps corals could be successfully kept in saltwater aquariums, soft corals such as Kenya trees and leather corals were very popular with aquarists.
Meanwhile, the colorful stone corals can be very well kept and reproduced, colorful crust anemones are also on the wish list.
For this reason, the focus is often no longer on the "simple" corals, perhaps apart from beginners of sea water aquaristics, because these species do not quite resent a mistake of the keeper as sps corals.
